Volcano sunset
Description
I sometimes referred to the volcano as the Disney volcano. The reason was that the eruption happened during Covid, and Icelanders were not traveling; the cinemas, theaters, gyms, and sports had limitations on attendance, so people started to hike up to the volcano. No one was enforcing rules and regulations, so it became a hangout, an activity, an amusement park where people brought hot cocoa and sandwiched and sat down by the hot lava and got mesmerized.
